Hawk Rock Foundation
The Hawk Rock Foundation was one of HK/BF's earliest supporters, and remain as an instrumental partner in facilitating the continued scale-up of our operations throughout Zambia. HK/BF has been a member of Hawk Rock's portfolio since 2016.
Mulago finds and funds high-performance organizations that tackle the basic needs of the very poor. HK/BF President, Lonnie Hackett, joined Mulago's Rainer Arnhold Fellowship in 2017, while HK/BF joined Mulago's portfolio in 2018.

Princeton in Africa (PiAf) develops young leaders committed to Africa’s advancement by offering yearlong fellowship opportunities with a variety of organizations that work across the African continent. HK/BF began hosting PiAf fellows in 2018.

The Ministry of Health's mission is to provide equitable access to cost effective, quality health services as close to the family as possible. Their ultimate goal is to improve the health status of people in Zambia in order to contribute to increased productivity and socio-economic development.
The mission of The Rotary Foundation of Rotary International is to advance world understanding, goodwill, and peace through the improvement of health, the support of education, and the alleviation of poverty. HK/BF has received support from thousands of Rotarians and been the recipient of two Global Grants.
Our founder, Lonnie Hackett, received the Samuel Huntington Public Service Award, which was established in partnership with the National Grid to support projects in public service.
